The Path to 2028. Pledge Now to Build the Foundation.

Texas makes it harder than almost anywhere else to get a new party on the ballot. That’s why we aren’t just filing paperwork, we are building a movement.

Our strategy has shifted to playing the long game. We are setting our sights on full party ballot access in 2028, but the work begins today. We are building the Texas Forward Party from the ground up. Precinct by precinct. County by county.

We need Founding Members. In 2026, we are organizing our Precinct, County, and State Conventions to establish the leadership that will carry us into the future. At the same time, we are lifting up independent, moderate, and Forward-endorsed community leaders who are ready to serve now.

Take the Pledge. Your pledge lets us know you are ready to be contacted in 2026 to:

    • Participate in our conventions as a Founding Member.
    • Sign petitions to place independent, solutions-first candidates on your local ballot.
    • Lay the groundwork for a permanent Forward Party line in 2028.

Raise your hand today. Let’s build something real, together.

NOTE: Pledging now does not legally obligate you to sign or attend later. However, please be aware that Texas election law requires that signers of independent candidate petitions cannot have voted in the primary election of any party for that election cycle. To ensure you are eligible to be a Founding Member or petition signer in 2026, you cannot have participated in another parties primary or runoff election.

Will the Forward Party adopt a position and/or develop grass roots opposition to some of the crazier Trump administration cabinet appointments such as Matt Gaetz?
