They say if you aren't at the table, you're on the menu. This Earth Day, the Texas Forward Party is "showing up" to represent the true community voice regarding the proposed MoPac South expansion. The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) is pushing a massive tollway project that would add 6–8 lanes over the sensitive Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone. From endangered species and local air quality to the long-term health of our drinking water, the stakes for our neighbors are immense. We are encouraging all Forward supporters and independent thinkers to attend this community meeting to become educated, ask the tough questions, and ensure our leaders hear a voice that prioritizes community well-being over highway sprawl. This is about being in the room where neighbors represent neighbors.
