Supporters living in "Emerging Counties"—meaning any Texas county that does not currently have an appointed County Chair or did not hold a local Precinct Convention this month. During this virtual meeting, you will have the opportunity to: Become a State Convention Delegate: Take the official oath of affiliation to secure your spot as a voting delegate at our Inaugural State Convention in Austin this April. Step Up as a Local Organizer: Apply for our grassroots leadership role. Local Organizers act as the equivalent of Precinct Chairs in unorganized counties. You will be directly sponsored and mentored by a Regional County Chair or an Executive Committee member. What happens next? You will be the boots on the ground for your community! If and when a County Chair is officially selected for your county, they will move to elevate our Local Organizers into full Precinct Chairs. Texas needs independent thinkers in every zip code.
